WITH ONE VOICE FOR THE EUROPEAN INDUSTRY!
A big THANK YOU to everybody involved! Under all essential COVID measures from 18.-19. November 2021 our Business Days took place in Barcelona. We had an exciting hybrid mixture of speeches and contributions on challenging topics for our industry like PFAS chemicals, environmental labeling of products in Europe and an update on the logistic situation given on-site by Dachser Logistics. Furthermore, we are very proud that FEC managed (for the very first time ever!) to bring four of the most important Fairtrade representatives around a digital round table: Derek Miller (IHA, United States), Esther Boil (Fieramilano, Italy), Philippe Brocart (SAFI-Maison&Objet, France), Thomas Kastl and Philip Ferger (Messe Frankfurt, Germany) exchanged experiences and -taking the impact of the challenging last two years into account- gave an interesting outlook on future fairs. Our successful `Business Days´ were closed by the annual `FEC General Assembly´. After reviewing the last challenging year, the objectives of 2022 are already clearly set on our vision of „FEC 2030“ by keeping up the targeted work in our members‘ interests. A special THANK YOU to all FEC MEMBER COMPANIES and for the excellent work of our SENIOR EXPERTS TEAM. And of course: CONGRATULATIONS to our re-elected presidents TOBIAS GERFIN and GERNOT STREHL!
