From the first informal Tuesday evening gathering of our Technical Experts to today’s General Assembly, the 2025 FEC Business Days once again united industry leaders, technical experts and members from across Europe for three days of intense knowledge-sharing and strategic dialogue.
On Wednesday, our Experts on Food Contact Materials and Sustainability held their dedicated team meetings, followed by the Directors’ Committee – setting a clear course for FEC’s future priorities. The day concluded with our evening cocktail reception and the official kick-off dinner, featuring an insightful political address by Klaus Wiener MdB.
Thursday’s Business Day at the TÜV Rheinland Campus delivered a powerful mix of industry insights and forward-looking discussions. We were honoured to -among others- welcome keynote speakers Dr. Enrico Fels, Andreas Wortmann, Julia Bach and Anton Klees, who shared compelling perspectives on geopolitics, sustainable materials, responsible leadership, and the evolving e-commerce landscape. Their contributions sparked valuable conversations that will resonate far beyond this week.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Nina Weiss, Lea Cannata, Ansgar Wennemer and Steffen Tuemptner for their outstanding support in the organization, and of course to TÜV Rheinland Group for hosting us.
Beyond the formal program, the Business Days offered many opportunities for personal exchange – from our welcome dinner at the elegant Maritim Hotel to a guided brewery experience and the evening at Gaffel am Dom. These moments reminded us how energizing it is to connect as a community.
Friday’s General Assembly marked a strong conclusion to an excellent week of our association’s activities. A sincere thank you to all speakers, members, partners, and colleagues who contributed to the success of the 2025 FEC Business Days.
